20 HT Plus
Description: Twin Wall Insulated High temperature Flue
Composition: Inner - S/S 316, Outer - S/S 304   
Size Range: From 100mm (4") to 760mm (30") - call for larger sizes
Flue Temp: maximum flue gas temperature 740°C, and will withstand short firing periods of up to 1100°C
Use: Twin wall flue system for gas, oil and solid fuel equipment
Finish: Bright Annealed (Mirror Finish)
Other Information: "HT Plus" is a Class 1 twin wall insulated chimney and has been independently tested at BSRIA and complies with the requirements of BS 4543, Parts 2 & 3. BSRIA report N° 17407/1 is available on request.

"HT Plus" has a number of advantages over most of the other twin wall flue systems that are available:

  1. The 316 grade inner liner is 0.5mm thick, (25% thicker than some products).
  2. The 304 grade outer casing is 0.5mm thick.
  3. Included in the product range is a 1500mm length.
  4. Due to the installation of new machinery and improved manufacturing techniques Midtherm can now offer an approved, high quality product at exceptionally competitive prices

"HT Plus" is available in 130mm, 150mm, 180mm, 200mm, 250mm and 300mm diameters from stock. Each length is bubble wrapped and clearly labelled.

To help integrate external flue sections into the appearance of a building, HT Plus can be stove enamelled or powder coated to any BS or Ral colour code.   HT Plus was tested at BSRIA and complies with the requirements of BS 4543, Parts 2 & 3. BSRIA report number 17407/1 is available on request.

HT Plus is in the latest Hetas official guide to approved solid fuel products and services.   Rigid Metallic Smoke Pipes: NF 137 01/01/15-01

BS 476:
HT Plus has a 4 hour fire rating for stability and integrity.   Components were set up to replicate a typical installation incorporating 45 degree bends for the relevant tests including thermal tests, brief details of which are given in the table below

Warranty:   INSTALLATION GUIDELINES:
Midtherm Flue Systems Limited offer a 10 year warranty for HT Plus twin wall flue against defects due to faulty manufacture or defective materials, provided that the product is used only for the intended purpose, is sized, designed and installed correctly for the appliance and route, is used only with suitable fuels, and is properly maintained. All installations for which the Warranty is to apply should be registered with Midtherm Flue Systems Limited.
